About
Egni Co-op develops rooftop solar installations on schools, community buildings, and public sites across Wales, funded through community shares. With over 4 MW installed across more than 80 sites — making it one of Wales' largest rooftop solar portfolios — Egni has become a flagship for community energy in Wales. The co-op also runs educational programmes in partnership with schools hosting its panels.
Mission
To put Welsh renewable energy into community ownership, cut bills for host sites, and use clean power to support local resilience.
