Greenwich Leisure Ltd (GLL), trading as Better, is the UK's largest social enterprise leisure operator, managing over 250 public sports and leisure facilities across the UK. Founded in Greenwich in 1993, it is a staff-led social enterprise that reinvests all surpluses in facilities and community programmes. GLL operates swimming pools, gyms, libraries, and sports centres on behalf of over 50 local authorities, and has a strong track record of increasing participation and improving facilities that were previously under-invested.
