About
Plymouth Energy Community (PEC) is a community benefit society developing rooftop solar on schools and community buildings across Plymouth, while also tackling fuel poverty through energy advice and home energy efficiency programmes. PEC has installed solar on over 20 schools and community buildings, generating enough electricity to power hundreds of homes and saving host organisations thousands in energy bills annually. Its award-winning fuel poverty programme has helped over 5,000 Plymouth households.
Mission
To create a fair, affordable, low-carbon energy system for Plymouth, owned and controlled by local people, with benefits flowing to those who need them most.
