About
Renewable Energies Wales is a community energy co-operative developing rooftop solar on community buildings across South Wales, with members drawn from local residents and community organisations. From its base in Pontypridd, it has completed installations on over 30 schools, leisure centres, and community halls across Rhondda Cynon Taf and surrounding valleys. The co-op also runs an energy advice service helping households switch to cheaper tariffs and access home efficiency grants.

To empower Welsh communities to own and benefit from renewable energy generation, reducing carbon emissions and building local energy independence.
